The overweight chapter of my life has closed with the completion of my first Ironman in Dec '15 and now I move forward with a renewed focus on a balanced lifestyle of activity, family and fun...oh and probably a few ups and downs along the way...

Instilling good habits...
So here I am nearly at the end of the second week of 70.3 training. I will post a summary of the weeks' training next week but I wanted to make reference to a new habit that I am working to instill in my daily routine.

70.3 Training - Week 1
Week 1 is in the books and by all accounts it was a good
week.
It was great to return to structured training, something
that I really did miss in the Christmas break, and something that helped me
realise that I do have the willpower and fortitude of a flea!

The “Century” Post…
So this post marks my 100th entry on my blog!
I’ll be honest, when I started typing this rambling little adventure 2 ½ years
ago I didn’t really have any idea where it was going. In reality, at that time
it was more about trying to keep myself accountable whilst trying to lose some
weight.
It then morphed into a bit of a recap of my “run around
Australia” and general attempts at keeping fit and the odd rambling post here
and there. Then once that finished I moved over into the world of triathlon and
my desire to become an Ironman.
